Close at hand are the alternative
attractions of Blackpool, some 14 miles to the south west and Morecambe
10 miles to the north and Lancaster, also 10 miles to the north, with it's castle,
museum, priory and golf course.
As well as
easy access to the Lake District, you will find the Trough of Bowland,
to the east of Cockerham Sands Country Park, offering it's own breathtaking
scenery and the opportunity for countless pleasant walks.

Sands Country Park the perfect setting for a touring or static caravan holiday.
The nearest bus stop is three miles away down a country lane and
although the bus runs every 2 hours guests are advised that they really
